Moving Forward - "Philosophy and Autism - Why We Disagree" Post Deleted on

A prior post entitled "Philosophy and Autism - Why We Disagree" was creating some real issues among individual members of this community. And much though I encourage and support debate, in this case the debate became personal and even descended into name-calling. As a result, I have decided to simply delete the post and move forward.

Thanks to everyone who took part in that conversation. I know that there are other sites and blogs where the debate will continue on a personal level, and I invite anyone who is interested to seek out those sites and conversations.

I have turned off "comments" over the weekend, and will turn them on again on Monday morning. Thanks very much for your support and patience.
