Autism.About.Com Adds a Second Weekly Newsletter with Blogs, Updates, Autism News

Monday March 17, 2008
If you've been following autism news for the past few months, you know there's a lot to say. There have been major media events... a landmark Vaccine Court settlement... and now there are plans for major national and international events and happenings. I've been trying to keep on top of it all with blog posts -- but of course not everyone has time to work their way through all that copy to find what interests them most.

Meanwhile, I'm continuing to write new articles about all aspects of autism and life on the autism spectrum. And there's plenty to say in that area as well. From therapies for infants and toddlers to planning for college and adult life, I'm exploring it all.

In the interests of keeping folks up to date, I'm now publishing two free e-newsletters a week. You can subscribe to both just by going to the Newsletter page and signing up.

On Monday, subscribers will receive an "autism update" with summaries and links to blog and forum posts, and "heads-up" information about breaking news. On Thursdays, subscribers will receive a more traditional newsletter: an email packed with topical information about autism spectrum disorders, treatments, medical concerns and more.

On the same page, you can sign up for short, free e-courses on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Treatments for Autism, and Support for Parents with Children on the Autism Spectrum.

If you have suggestions or ideas for newsletter content and/or articles, please let me know! And, of course, please consider subscribing to this free e-service.
